Authorized by the Fujian People's Government and sponsored by the Provincial Economic and
Trade Commission, the innovative project promotion show (designated for new products, new
technology, new material, new methods and new equipment ) for the year 98 is the first
presentation of new and high technology brought out by the province, the nation and some
foreign countries. It will further pace up the integration of the economy and technology
and foster the process for the transfer of scientific results to commercial production so
as to bring about a shift of the mode in economic growth. The projects totaled 5,000 from
the province, the nation and other countries will be up on the show. About 1,500
enterprises from Fujian province will enter the show. Industries such as mechanics,
electronics,textile,petrochemistry, building materials, pharmacy and forestry will be the
key ones associated with the show. The projects which obtain contracts, or be developed
jointly under the cooperation by manufacturers, colleges and research institutions, or be
sophisticated technological projects that to be confirmed of definitely beneficial after
careful review, will be supported by the related department in financing and project
conformation. The promotion show will be held from October 8 ,98 to October 12 , 98 in the
Fujian Industrial Exhibition Building located in Wusi Road , Fuzhou . We are now sincerely inviting you especially foreign friends to paticipate in
this major event. Please bring your new products, new technology, new materials, new
methods and equipments to the promotion show for displaying and trade talk. It will be
free from exhibition fee and booth rental while other expenses should be under the
